Getting to Lynn

Find your route to Lynn, Massachusetts.
Three Ways to Get to Lynn, Massachusetts

Depending on the way that you like to travel, there are several different options for getting to Lynn, MA. You can arrive by airport, by bus, or by car. Here are just a few resources and ideas to help you get into Lynn without trouble.

Getting there by Plane: Boston Logan International Airport

Because there is no Lynn, Massachusetts airport, the easiest way to fly into town is to fly into the Logan International Airport, which is just a few miles south of town. The airport is one of the larger international hubs in the nation, so every major airline flies through this airport at some point or another. It isn’t a problem at all to get tickets for any time of the year and any time of the day or night that come into Boston’s Logan Airport, since it is such a major operation.

If you fly into the airport, you’ll have a few options for actually getting to Lynn. You can hop on a bus at the North Terminal in town, which stops at Lynn on its way to Rockport. This is a simple way to go if you want to save money and if you won’t need a car when you get to Lynn. If you don’t feel like waiting for a bus, there are shuttle services that will take you to Lynn straight from the airport, as well. You can also perform a Lynn car rental at the kiosks in the airport, which will allow you to have a vehicle all during your stay in Lynn.

Getting There by Bus: On a Greyhound

As we mentioned before, you can get to Lynn from Boston on one of the local bus lines, but you can also get into Lynn through a Greyhound bus. There aren’t any Greyhound stops actually in Lynn, so this would have to be a multiple bus trip. You could take the bus into Boston, which has several major Greyhound stops, and then take the local Boston area bus to get into Lynn, which would make for a fairly easy trip.

Getting There by Car: Choosing a Highway

Of course, you could always choose to do it the old-fashioned way and to drive into Lynn, which is pretty simple, too. Although there aren’t any major highways that actually run fully through the city, many major routes, including U.S. Route 1, run through Lynn and make for convenient drives in and out of the city.
